KavitaIn the weeks following the November ‘04 election, Kavita realized that her electoral-induced melancholy had reached a new low when she found herself weeping after every episode of The Daily Show.

Like so many of her generation, Kavita succumbed to crafty activities to get her through her time of need. A steady regimen of paper quilling, screen-printing and glue-gun wielding soon lead her to the world of soap making. One January morning, just before no. 43’s second inaugural, she realized that soap was a good metaphor for cleaning up. And if anyone has proved himself adept at making a mess, it’s Dubya.

A filmmaker by profession and a wanderluster at heart, these days Kavita spends much time in her kitchen, where she personally concocts new formulas for Scrubya.
